Learn to create beautiful, unique and painterly images in Photoshop with the Mixer Brush in this LIVE 3 hour online class
About this Event
The mixer brush is an underused tool in Adobe Photoshop, which allows you to 'paint' your subject. From creating your own beautiful backgrounds for creative projects to painting fur, feathers and more. Once mastered this can be used to paint portraits and landscapes from a blank canvas, but in this class, we will start with photos and smaller, more achievable pieces.
Bonus - Comes with bonus eBook and Class Recording
If you have done the Beginners Photoshop Class & the Mastering Layers class, you will have enough knowledge to also try this class.
Still not 100% sure what the Mixer Brush is all about if you visit my Artist Palette page, there are some example images created with the Mixer Brush.
We will cover extractions, masking and creating basic composites. We will also look at artistic filters and, of course, the mixer brush.
-Learn HOW to successfully extract items for clipart, transparencies and composites
-Learn HOW to successfully create your own brushes
-Learn HOW to successfully create your own backgrounds
-Learn HOW to create that painterly look with the mixer brush, we will look at a couple of different projects.
Requirements: This workshop is aimed at intermediate & more advanced PS users (This is NOT a Beginners class), a working copy of Photoshop is required. I also advise using a mouse, as the level of detail required cannot be obtained with a laptop trackpad. If you have a graphics tablet, that is great but not essential
If you have done Photoshop for Beginners & Mastering Layers Workshop, you are welcome to join this class as well.
Please contact Julie for further details via julie.powell@outlook.com
